Free Lecture: How to Memorize Numbers

Memorizing and quickly recalling strings of digits such as your credit card number, a colleague's phone number, or a relative's birthday is an important skill to have in everyday life. Yet despite the fact that, on average, we can memorize only an estimated 7 digits at a time, it's possible to strengthen this ability to memorize strings of digits longer than you ever imagined. The secret: two specific methods that are surprising in their accessibility—and their fun. Dr. Benjamin is Professor of Mathematics at Harvey Mudd College, where he has taught for more than 20 years.
